Portrait Session
Family, Maternity, Milestones, Couples, or Seniors
Up to 1 hour of shooting with digital and film
Location of your choice or studio session
Access to complimentary client wardrobe
Gallery delivery appointment within 4 weeks
Session fee: $250 + sales tax
**NOTE: Each session fee reserves the time and talent of the photographer for the session as a retainer, it does not include image downloads/prints. Following the session, the best images will be hand edited, the film will be developed, and imagery delivered within 4 weeks as a slide show gallery. Gallery delivery will be scheduled as an appointment time to ensure an enjoyable viewing experience in your own home. I highly recommend making this a family night on the couch with popcorn and snacks, connecting your computer or smart phone to your TV and viewing your imagery together. (Core memories engaged for kiddos!) Don’t forget to have tissues nearby because we will be sure to capture all the feels.
You will then have 3 options of purchasing downloads and prints after viewing your beautiful imagery. Each portrait collection has a print credit to use within your gallery! My goal is to make this an enjoyable and easy experience for the whole family!

FAQs for newborn sessions:
1. When is the best time to schedule? Some say within the first 2 weeks, but I personally think this can be hard for post partum mamas. I have found the sweet spot to be between 4-6 weeks. This allows YOU time to recover and feel better about yourself, time to through common feeding trials in those first few weeks, and time for baby to regain some weight and get through newborn acne. My favorite reason to wait is EYE CONTACT! Babies don't develop eye contact until they are at least 4 weeks old. Yes we will still get those sleepy photos too, but capturing babies making eye contact with mamas is one of my favorite things to photograph.
2. How long do sessions typically last? Newborn sessions can last anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours, allowing time for feeding and soothing as needed. The baby will dictate our schedule.
3. What should we bring to the session? I have everything we need for baby in my studio space! Blankets, swaddles, special newborn pillows, etc. You are also welcome to bring any personal items you'd like to include.
4. Do we have to do photos in the studio or can we have photos done in our home? Either location is perfect! If you prefer to stay home, I can bring everything to you! If you don't like the lighting in your home, or perhaps you are going through renovations or any other extenuating circumstance, then the studio may be a good option.
5. Can family members be included in the photos? Yes! Family photos create beautiful memories. I want to capture this season for you just as it is, all siblings and pets are welcome.
6. How do we prepare for the session? Ensure the baby is well-fed before the session. Keep the room warm and comfortable to help your baby relax. However, if they are going through a growth spurt and need to feed again during the session, that is completely fine!
7. What if my baby doesn’t cooperate during the shoot? It's 100% normal for babies to be unpredictable! You're also in luck, because I am a baby whisperer. I have 3 babies of my own and I'm very experienced in working with newborns. Whatever happens, I will adjust as needed.
